An awareness video from healthcare professionals to common persons
Several messages in different videos are compelling in one
About the project
A healthcare association came up with the idea to make an awareness video to post on social media platforms during October Month – breast cancer month. In the beginning, there was just the idea of making something to call attention to the screening and early detection of breast cancer.
The idea
The first idea was to try to convince some famous person to make a home video about the subject. But the tentative fail. So we passed to the plan B, which was put the healthcare professionals that the association represents passing the messages.
Of course, this represented problems. Can you imagine each person recording videos at their home? With their phones? Wearing some random T-shirt? In some way, this really happened.

The way through
After recruiting the volunteers, to try to minimize the problems mentioned before, I elaborated a list of recording recommendations.
But as expected the videos had some unwanted technical issues: reverberation, echo, background noise, good image contrast, and color. Each video needed to be improved according to their necessities.

The final result
After creating several video drafts, I began crafting visuals that complemented the healthcare association’s message. Using the chosen colors and typography, I incorporated subtle animations and geometric shapes. I wanted a clean, soft, gentle, and cute approach. I wanted an alternative to the theme video roughness.
The final video achieved impressive results on social media, becoming the most viewed post the association had ever published. Seeing the positive response was incredibly rewarding.
