Magazine reflecting the branding’s voice

Visual identity should be recognized in all communicative piece

About the project

The process

As the designer responsible for the association’s visual identity, I was well-positioned to oversee the redesign of its pagination. By aligning the magazine’s design elements with the established brand identity, I created a cohesive and visually appealing layout.

After I analyzed the content, I suggested reorganizing it into thematic sections to improve the magazine’s readability and organization. This new structure enhanced the user experience and made the magazine more engaging for readers.

The magazine has been distributed by a digital channel platform in flipbook mode, offering users a familiar experience while leveraging the benefits of digital technology. However, the choice of font size presented a challenge, as the recommended size for mobile devices differed from the characteristic size for scientific articles. By client choice and having in mind their objective of being a scientific magazine, the size was chosen according to this.

Throughout time I have been responsible for the magazine’s pagination. I closely collaborated with the association to ensure that the magazine’s design met their objectives and expectations.

The final result

The client was highly pleased with the final outcome of the magazine redesign, as their associates recognized the significant improvements in its design and overall quality.
